Life can hand us some of the best lessons. For me, the school of hard knocks is the best education I have received. When things don't go the way I want or expect, I try different angles. Because life isn't about giving up; it's about finding solutions.
Having been homeschooled, life lessons were encouraged with the writing, reading, and arithmetic lessons as I was growing up. And with the Internet at my fingertips - YouTube University ๐in particular - I can figure out the puzzles or curiosities of life most of the time.
But on the other hand, there aren't always fixes to life's complications. For example, my eye problems, which have no cure, render me helpless on many days. The blurry vision and pain often keep me off of the computer, smartphone, and other devices. I'm still learning to deal with this, such as figuring out how to use Google Docs to "transcribe" my ideas on less difficult days. And I'm grateful to have assistance getting my ideas onto the blog and preparing my Etsy and eBay items to ship when I have a sell.
My eye problems have since made me change my mind about creating homemade items to sell on Etsy. Homemade items may happen over time, but I'm not sure what that will be yet. I'm going to continue selling vintage finds for the most part. And soon, I'll be selling digital goods which can be downloaded to print and frame or to read. And printed t-shirts, mugs, and other items is another digital venue I'm going to try. So, I'll hopefully, have a favorable niche to make an income from home since I'm not able to drive to a job with my vision issues. So, watch for those digital products as I announce them on this site. I really think you'll like them.
Life keeps happening, and I continue to try to figure out how to deal with it one day at a time. What about you? How do you get your life education? Are there complications that you're having trouble overcoming?
